There's no question that jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer has a covetable aesthetic. Her iconic pieces—from her sought-after nameplates to her wishbone pendant necklace—have a cult following. Her style is at once timeless and fresh, in every facet of her life. So when she teamed up with design firm Pierce & Ward (with help from The Studio at One Kings Lane) to give her new L.A. home a makeover, we knew we could expect gorgeous results. "I first met Pierce & Ward years ago; Emily and I met first," recounts Meyer in a behind-the-scenes video on One Kings Lane. "She had told me that she was thinking of doing interior design. When I purchased this new home, it wasn't even a question that Emily and Louisa would do it."
Meyer knew exactly what she wanted going into the project. "I want people to feel like they don't want to leave when they walk into my home," she explains. "I want them to feel like it's a second home for them and that they want to hang out all night." The beautifully designed interiors certainly have the power to make visitors want to stay. The sprawling interior of the home is accented by tasteful details. "I really wanted this house to be designed and decorated in a way where everything felt really clean, not fussy, but rich in texture and color."
Each curated piece lends character to the home, adding to these dynamic variations in texture and color. "The pieces in this house feel so special," says Meyer. "They're exactly what I wanted. One of the first pieces that they picked was my pink sofa from One Kings Lane. It's the perfect color, the perfect sofa, and I love it." Meyer describes the finished results of her light-filled abode as the house of her dreams. "This is my style—this has been my style for my whole life," she confesses. "When it was finished, I was in love."
