See Inside Jessica Simpson's $6.4M Former Beverly Hills Mansion

Updated 07/11/18

Actress, singer, and fashion designer Jessica Simpson has moved on from her former Beverly Hills home, which she purchased back in 2005 for $5.275 million, according to Trulia. She and husband Eric Johnson lived in the home with daughter Maxwell before upgrading to a new abode to accommodate their growing family (the couple had their second child, Ace, in 2013). Former owners include Hollywood elite like Ellen DeGeneres. The serene, secluded property sold for an impressive $6.4 million.

The five-bedroom, six-bath home was built in 1991 and sprawls 5500 square feet across a lush property in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Beverly Hills. Simpson turned to celebrity decorator Rachel Ashwell to design the interior, opting for her trademark shabby-chic look. Inside, you'll find tall ceilings and traditional décor, including elegant chandeliers and large French doors. Beyond a gated and walled exterior lies a stone courtyard with plenty of flowers, trees, and green botanicals to create the perfect setting for outdoor entertaining.

The backyard also holds a large swimming pool, an expansive lawn, and a koi pond, of course. Step inside the charming Beverly Hills estate below.
