Thanks to a timely post on La Dolce Vida, we were reminded of the recent opening of the new J.K. Place Roma which we first read about in the January issue of Travel + Leisure. From hospitality mastermind Ori Kafri and designer/architect Michele Bönan, the same duo behind the highly popular J.K. Place Capri and J.K. Place Florence, the new Roman hotel has the same cozy and chic interiors fans of the brand have come to expect. A combination of classic elements with modern sensibilities, the interiors are a blend of bright colors and classic Italian materials. Rich marbles and midcentury-inspired light fixtures and furniture combine to lend a contemporary feel to the Eternal City. The vibe is decidedly residential, a fearless residential where canary walls blend seamlessly with marble sculptures and Moroccan rugs. Located in a building that once housed the University of Rome's architecture school, the hotel is centrally located near the Spanish Steps. With only 30 rooms, the J.K. Place Roma is able to see to their guest's every need including free of charge wi-fi and mini bar service. To read more about the hotel's interiors head to La Dolce Vida, and for more information on the hotel itself, read Travel + Leisure. Photographs: Courtesy of the J.K. Place Roma.
