If Joanna Gaines Could Repaint Your Living Room, This Is the Color She'd Choose

Updated 05/17/19

Chip and Joanna Gaines make up the couple turned design duo behind countless stunning home transformations on the show Fixer Upper. Needless to say, they know a thing or two about paint colors—so much so that Joanna created her very own line of paints and primers for their company, Magnolia Home. The designer recently spoke with PopSugar about the three paint colors she's currently obsessed with right now, whether she's redecorating a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, or living room.

Below, read up on what colors Joanna Gaines would select for your home, and head over to PopSugar for more from the designer.

Magnolia

The Bedroom

"Bedrooms are a great place to take a risk and use a little more color. I would love to see a client use Weekend in their bedroom. Like weekends, this color puts me at ease. It is the calming blue of retreat and relaxation."

Magnolia

The Bathroom

"In a bathroom, I like the idea of using something fresh and clean, like maybe one of my favorite grays, Wedding Band."

Magnolia

The Kitchen and Living Room

"For high-traffic areas like kitchens and living rooms, I would keep things simple and use a creamy, neutral white like Shiplap with True White trim color. They create a bright, clean space and offer a versatile backdrop for decor."
