We love to dream and speculate about some of our favorite fashion brands making the jump into home décor, and lucky for us Kate Spade has just announced that the brand plans to significantly increase its presence in the home design space. Though the preppy-ladylike retailer plans to shut down its more casual sister brand, Saturday, the New York-based company revealed yesterday it will be expand into other sectors. "The new home collections include bedding, bath, furniture, fabric, wallpaper, and rugs," said a brand spokesperson. "[The new lines] will complement existing successful categories including tabletop with Lenox Corporation, table linens and kitchen textiles with Town & Country Living, and stationery and gifting collections with Lifeguard Press."
