While we're privy to much of Kim Kardashian's life thanks to her reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the family home she shares in Calabasas, California with her four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—has been kept fairly under wraps.

Kardashian gave fans a first look inside her uber-chic primary bathroom via a tour on her Instagram stories in 2019. She noted that viewers were "a little bit confused" about the sink. Designed by her former husband, Kanye West, with acclaimed interior designer Axel Vevoordt and architect Claudio Silvestrin, it looks as there are no basins at first glance. But the black faucets don't sit atop a flat stone counter: Kardashian explains that the sink does "slightly slope down with a slit for the water," and the water can be as "high pressured as you like with no backsplash."

It took a whopping eight versions of this prototype sink before its designers landed on the final concept. In the tour, Kardashian moves on from the bathroom to the rest of the home, which boasts a minimalist, modern style. Its elevated finishes even extend to the light switches: "They are just three little buttons—they go on, dim, and off—and there's no box around it, which I think is really cool and more visually appealing," explains Kim. We couldn't agree more.
