Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are notoriously open people—the entire Kardashian family has been sharing the ins and outs of their lives for the past 11 years on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, while Kanye's preferred mode of communication is Twitter. While he typically tweets philosophical musings about creativity and our current political climate (in addition to behind-the-scenes photos of his upcoming Yeezy projects), West crossed into the personal while on another one of his infamous rants this morning.
The rapper tweeted a series of three photos of the home he shares with wife Kim and their three kids, North, Saint, and Chicago. Not only is the home entirely off-limits to Keeping Up with the Kardashians cameras, but it appears that the couple made a pact to keep their family home off social media as well. "Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media!" reads Kardashian's response tweet. "Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?" She then followed up with another tweet clarifying that she was only joking. Jokes aside, Kanye just gave us a very rare glimpse into the couple's immaculate home. See the photos below.
While we've read descriptions of the Kardashian-West abode in various magazine articles (Elle recently called it "improbably spotless," "silent," and "beige and greige,"), West's photos finally put a face to a name, so to speak. The home almost looks like a museum or an art installation; the monochromatic color palette, perfectly chiseled, rounded archways, and almost eerie lack of clutter make it look as if it's empty. What's even more shocking is that three children actually live there—there isn't so much as a speck of color in sight. In other words, it's exactly what you'd expect from Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West.
