Congratulations are in order for actress Laura Dern, who just scored her first-ever beauty campaign—at 51 years old, no less. The Big Little Lies star is the face of Kate Spade's new fragrance, In Full Bloom, alongside women whose ages span nearly four decades, Elle reports.

The move to spotlight Stern in the campaign is in line with a broader industry shift to reflect age diversity in the beauty industry. Covergirl made headlines in September last year for casting 69-year-old grandmother Maye Musk as the face of the brand.

Dern appears in the campaign alongside Sasheer Zamata of SNL fame, 31, and Rookie founder Tavi Gevinson, 21, and they all created "love letters" to themselves. In the black-and-white video, Dern's message to herself is, "Girl, just let it go. It's fine. You're doing the best you can." Offering an empowering message, she says, "I think if I really could write this love letter to myself it'd be very cut and dry: You got this, Dern." She sure does.
