You can't hear the name "Lo Bosworth" without thinking of MTV's hit series Laguna Beach. Though the California native initially embraced the reality TV path, agreeing to appear in six seasons of The Hills after Laguna Beach wrapped in 2006, Bosworth has since reinvented both herself and her home located on the west side of Los Angeles.
She is now the founder and chief executive of Love Wellness, a health company and product line, in addition to launching and managing her personal blog, The Lo Down. Her talents extend into the interior design space as well, where she recently teamed up with AllModern to transform her L.A. home and garden into somewhat of a modern West Coast oasis.
I really wanted to create spaces where friends and family would want to hang out over and over again.
"I moved in to this place with a clean slate so I got to design from the ground up," she told AllModern. "I wanted my home to feel really inviting and calm, so I selected lots of muted colors but with lots of different textures to warm everything up! I've lived in all-white homes before and while I really enjoy that look I felt like it would be fun to have this California cottage reflect the west side of Los Angeles."
She had three main items on her wish list: a large, inviting living room couch, a spacious dining room for dinner parties, and a sprawling outdoor area with plenty of seating for guests. "I really wanted to create spaces where friends and family would want to hang out over and over again," she adds. If the finished project is any indication, Bosworth has succeeded in creating her dream home. Step inside Bosworth's newly redesigned L.A. home, garden, and outdoor patio.
