In addition to hiking Mount Kilimanjaro and chatting to our co-founder on the latest Second Life podcast, Mandy Moore has tackled another project behind the scenes: a home renovation. The This Is Us star has been working with interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel to gut-renovate her midcentury-modern home in Pasadena, California—and a newly released photograph of the kitchen gives us a glimpse at the stunning result.
The kitchen certainly represents Sherman Samuel's signature style. Sage cabinets pair well with a marble waterfall island finished with brushed brass pulls. We recognized a few familiar kitchen accessories too. It looks like Moore has decorated the countertop with a cutting board and glass jars from Hawkins New York, Aesop hand soap, and blush pink plates.
She's also set up an Echo Show, which connects to a number of smart home devices like thermostats and lighting. In a recent Instagram post, Moore showed that she loves to play music with the device (Dawes is her artist of choice).
