After a very public wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen to keep the details of their honeymoon private, although that hasn't stopped rumors swirling. Initially, sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex suggested Namibia was at the top of their list, thanks to the couple's close ties with Africa, but new reports suggest the duo might be venturing to Canada, instead.
In a new report from TMZ, Harry and Meghan are thinking about traveling to Alberta, Canada for their honeymoon. The tabloid alleges that they've already chosen their accommodation, too. "We're told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going to Alberta, Canada's Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for their post-wedding getaway," they report. Rumor has it they'll stay at Outlook Cabin, a 6000 square-foot luxury suite known as "The Royal Retreat."
The hotel might seem like a surprising choice, but TMZ points out that it has a long list of royal and celebrity guests. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited in 1939, and the current Queen and Prince Philip stayed there in 2005. Anthony Hopkins, John Travolta, and Bill Gates have also vacationed there.
