Since the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's life has become a bit of a whirlwind—you can't read the news or walk past a magazine stand without seeing a photo of her. While the actress is no stranger to the pressure of fame, becoming a part of the royal family comes with its own unique set of expectations. So how does Markle keep her glow and her wits about her? It all comes down to the wellness habits she's adopted throughout her life. Markle swears by running, yoga, and moderation, according to MindBodyGreen.

Markel sees running as her own form of meditation. "For me, I need running as much for my head as I need it for keeping in shape," she told Shape. While running is a physically demanding exercise, it can also do wonders for mental health in terms of relieving stressful thinking. Markle admits it helps her get out of her own head.

Yoga is another ritual Markle couldn't live without. She's been practicing from a young age, thanks to her mother, who is a yoga instructor. "That practice is in my blood," she told Women's Health. "I love an intense vinyasa class, and even better if it's blasting hip-hop and done in a dark room with candlelight." She boasts that the practice helps her with flexibility, muscle strength, happiness, focus, anxiety, and even better sleep.

Besides physical activities, Markle focuses on eating right. She sticks to lean protein like fish and nutrient-packed vegetables during the week to stay energized and feeling her best. However, she also believes in enjoying indulgences in moderation. "I think if you deprive yourself of anything, you're just going to crave it more. So for me, it's finding that balance."
