If there's one person qualified to offer advice on how to start your day, it's Miranda Kerr. She somehow manages to stay in supermodel shape while raising a son, building a majorly successful cosmetics business, and enjoying time with her husband (who happens to be the co-founder of Snapchat). So just how does she spend her first waking hours to set her up for a productive day? Kerr's morning ritual includes meditation, cuddling, banana pancakes, Pilates, Kundalini yoga, and warm water with prunes, Well + Good reports.
After a little morning meditation and cuddles with her son, Flynn, the former Angel starts her day with a rather unusual beverage. Instead of coffee, Kerr opts for a variation of infused warm water in the morning. She used to swear by warm water with lemon or apple cider vinegar, but lately, it's been plain warm water—sometimes with a few added prunes to kick-start her digestion. "I really love it. It tastes so nice. I really like prunes," Kerr admits.
It seems that Kerr is onto something with her love of prunes. As it turns out, prunes not only regulate digestion, thanks to a good amount of fiber, but they are also full of antioxidants that promote healthy hair and skin.
