Hollywood Regency and Chinoiserie styles have made a serious comeback in the last decade, and now we're seeing the domino effect: cane furniture (seating and tables woven from rattan vine) and geometric cane patterns are spreading like wild fire. Traditional Palm Beach-style residences à la preeminent Florida designer Celerie Kemble, as well more conceptual interiors, such as the Parisian hotel La Maison Champs Élysées, designed by fashion house Maison Martin Margiela, are brimming with cane. The material can do no wrong in its prepster element, but we also love to see a pop of the pattern below graphic modern art -- and as for Taylor Llorente's highly stylized wingback cane chair, it had us at hello. Click through our slideshow above for some inspiring cane-filled spaces, and shop our top furniture and fabric picks below.
