When interior decorator Claudia Stephenson stumbled up on a 1970s duplex in Sydney, she couldn't believe her luck: “It ticked all the boxes aesthetically and the location was spot on," she told Real Living. They immediately gutted the apartment and bleached it with a neutral base; then she got started on the decorating. For Claudia, it was important the space had personality and charisma: “I wanted a modern eclectic feel that was functional, comfortable, and had a bit of a wow factor,” she adds. “This is where art, rugs, and decorator items shine most.” Scroll down to see more of this artful home through photos by Maree Homer for Real Living.
