There's no argument here: Saturday mornings are sacred. And after a long week, there's nothing quite like waking up and having the day to do whatever you like. For us, that often translates into lots of coffee and good food. While there are a host of markets that stock an array of vintage clothes and fresh produce, it's a new market in Sydney that's really got us excited: The Molo Markets in Wooloomooloo.
Co-founded by the owner of Molo Bar, Riccardo Bernabei has definitely curated our type of market, including fruit and vegetables from Parisi, pastries from Barbetta (we can vouch for how good these are) cold cuts from De Palma Salumi and freshly baked bread from Grain Organic Bakery. Launching tomorrow, the markets will be held once a month throughout winter on the Finger Wharf. And in our opinion, this is a much better way to stock up for the week than doing the groceries in a shopping centre.
Rug up, grab your chicks, and eat the day away. Absolute bliss.
