There's an age-old question that's confounded people for eons: What are the laws of attraction? Just as we think we've got a grasp on the personality traits men and women find most attractive, or the question of whether dating apps have killed romance, a new study comes out that proves predicting what men and women want is nearly impossible.
Today's hot topic? Careers. Tinder has mined data from New York users to find out which jobs are most likely to elicit a right swipe. And, if a quick poll at MyDomaine HQ is any indication, the results will surprise you. The most attractive profession for women is teaching followed by stylists and PR/communications, Business Insider reports. Among men, engineering was the most coveted profession on the dating app, followed by CEO and registered nurse. Take a look at the top five list:
