A few weeks ago, we brought you our MyDomaine dream home. In the same vein as the Barbie Dreamhouses many of us loved as children, each room was reimagined by one of our gifted editors. But then we thought, What about you guys? We like to assume you love the same things we do, but over the past couple of weeks, we decided to really find out. We polled you across our social media accounts, from Instagram to Twitter, to get to the bottom of what you would love to see in your dream home. While we never doubted that you had impressive style, boy were we impressed. Here's your ultimate dream-home wish list.
Let's start with the room we all want to hang out in: the living room. Your wish list included a fireplace (a must) and an indoor swing (because growing up is boring). You are clearly a minimalistic bunch—many of you called out a clean, neutral aesthetic—but you know how to accessorize to make a minimalistic room feel warm and inviting: Chunky knit throws, worldly pillows, and beautiful built-in bookcases were all part of your list.
You know how to mix and match. When it comes to seating arrangements, you prefer an unconventional mix: Mismatched chairs, banquettes, and dining benches break up an otherwise monotone dining set. A statement chandelier was at the top of your list, as were oversize art pieces that make a statement. Can we come to dinner?
You really impressed us with your taste in kitchen décor. Your dream space is functional and modern, with a worldly flair: European accents (like herringbone floors and crown moldings) were a must, as were patterned ceramic tiles. In terms of counter stools, tan leather was the top choice. To finish it off, a gorgeous French range was de mise. As for the color combination of choice for the heart of the home, blue and white cabinets reigned supreme.

It looks like you all really know how to unwind. In the bedroom, you demanded a clean, open space with tons of natural light. You again opted for a monochrome palette with just a hint of color in the form of original art. As for the accents, an upholstered headboard and throws ensured optimal comfort. Oh, and let's not forget the dream closet—it seems you all want one (so do we)!
Last but not least, the bathroom might have been our favorite. At the top of the wish list: brass, brass, brass. Marble was a close second—a few of you even called out waterfall-style countertops. We were officially impressed. A clawfoot tub was also a must—we all need to unwind after a long way. The lighting came in as a final touch—a chandelier to add some glam factor and a pair of sconces to cast flattering light when getting ready. You guys loved these Apparatus Studio sconces (and we do too)!
