Back in June, Google launched its Undo feature for Gmail, allowing users a 30-second grace period to recall sent emails. Sooner or later we all find ourselves a little trigger happy with the Reply All button, so thanks for the buffer, Gmail.
Google reports Gmail service now includes Unsubscribe and Block features, allowing users to streamline their inboxes with fewer clicks. Users now have the option to block certain email addresses, sending future mail directly to the spam folder. The feature launches next week on Android.
Google product manager Sri Harsha Somanchi said of the new offering, "You'll be able to opt out of eligible mailing lists directly from the Gmail app. It's perfect for those newsletters you subscribed to a while back but don't read anymore."
Time for a little fall cleaning.
