Orlando Bloom has made headlines recently thanks to his engagement to Katy Perry however, it's his modern Beverly Hills home that's really worth your attention. The actor recently listed the property located on "Billionaire's Row"—an area in Beverly Hills with the highest concentration of billionaire's in Los Angeles—to the tune of $8.99 million, according to Top Ten Real Estate Deals. It's listed by Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group, who happens to be the star of a new Netflix series called Selling Sunset, which focuses on real estate in the luxe Los Angeles neighborhood.

The 4,011-square-foot home boasts views of both the ocean and the city from its exclusive perch. It's comprised of four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and multiple outdoor living areas that will have you dreaming of putting down roots in California.

The distinctly modern home was originally built in the 1960s, which is evidenced by much of the architecture throughout the property. Although Bloom added a new pool, an Ipe wood deck, built-in seating, LED lights, a fire feature in the backyard, and an open floorplan kitchen and dining room, the home is dripping in mid-century modern elements. Think a sunken living room, flat roofs, and a simple layout.

Although the home appears quite unassuming from the street view, the modern property boasts striking interiors. From here, you can see the 1960s-era flat roof that defines many properties in Southern California from this time period.

The expansive living room is distinctly modern thanks to the sunken, built-in seating. It's a grand departure from the traditional sofa, accent chair, and coffee table layout and makes for a highly functional space for entertaining large groups. Surrounded by wooden floors, it feels intimate and inviting.

A small, partial wall is the only thing standing in the way of an entirely open floorplan for the living and dining rooms. Largescale art hangs on the minimalist wall that faces an all-white dining room table, chairs, and light fixtures. The room also features an unobstructed view of the lush backyard outside the large sliding glass doors.

On the other side of the dining room, you'll find a modern, all-white kitchen space with lacquered cabinets and stainless steel appliances. It continues the highly modern, all-white design aesthetic found throughout the space with the only warmth and contrast coming from the wooden floors.

The master bedroom is equally minimal in color with modern white furnishings. A low-sitting bed sits in the center of the space, accented by short side tables, a settée, and chic LED lighting that's hidden flush against the ceiling. The room also offers direct access to a private outdoor space.

The master bathroom is simple, yet luxurious. A free-standing white tub sits on teak wood reminiscent of what you might find in a relaxing spa or sauna. It also leads to an outdoor area meant for taking advantage of that mild Los Angeles weather and indulging in some private sunbathing.
