If Pharrell Williams was happy before, he’s absolutely ecstatic now. The singer and producer finally sold his palatial Miami penthouse to the tune of $9.25 million. And though that haul is nothing to scoff at, it’s actually less than the $12.525 million Williams spent on the triplex all the way back in 2007. It’s also oceans away from $16.8 million, which was the original asking price when the penthouse first went on the market back in 2012.
With one look at the 9000 square-foot penthouse, it's easy to see why Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty listed it just shy of $10 million. Sitting atop the ultra-luxe Bristol Tower condominium in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, the home is essentially a circle, which means panoramic views of downtown Miami and the surrounding bay that can be admired from a living room stretching 30 feet high.
Other features include an eye-popping spiral staircase, walls adorned with pop art, a gym, a billiards room, three levels of outdoor terraces, and a gorgeous outdoor pool. Pharrell reportedly put the penthouse on the market because his hosting duties on NBC’s The Voice have made Los Angeles his primary home.
No word yet on who the lucky buyer is, but one thing’s for certain: They’ve got a tough act to follow.
What do you think of his former penthouse? Is it your style or would you have done something different?
