Updated 03/05/18

Spring is on the horizon, which means we're officially ready to freshen up the cave we've been hibernating in for the last six months. Our hunt for interior inspiration has once again led us to Pinterest, which let us in on the emerging trends for spring 2018.

In terms of easy, inexpensive accents that can easily add some life to your space, saves for "pampas grass" (pictured above) have increased by an impressive 500% in the last year, meaning more and more people are turning to the flowering plant for a pop of whimsical elegance in their homes (or in their weddings). Similarly, searches for "single palm leaf" have increased by 136%. If your Instagram feed is any indication, homeowners and designers alike are placing a single palm or monstera leaf in a glass vase for a pop of greenery.

The site recommends trying this if you're not quite ready to commit to statement-making tropical wallpaper or fabrics.

Finally, searches for "fringe pillows" have increased by 336% in the last year, as users look to add a pop of texture and dimension to their living rooms and bedrooms with minimal effort. Shop editor-approved trend pieces below.
