If money and time were no barriers, where would you choose to spend your first few days as newlyweds? After they tied the knot in Berkshire, England, this weekend, all eyes are on where Pippa Middleton and her billionaire husband will choose to spend their honeymoon.
The couple was spotted less than 24 hours after their nuptials at Los Angeles International Airport, en route from Britain to the Pacific Islands. While it's yet to be confirmed, Daily Mail cites sources close to the couple who say they're heading to The Brando, a private island hideaway perched on a cluster of islands 30 miles north of Tahiti, in French Polynesia.
The five-star resort sits on a circle of white sand islands that frame a piercing blue lagoon. Once a favorite of Tahitian royalty, who chose the island as a summer retreat, the resort is perhaps best known as actor Marlon Brando's private getaway.
The luxury resort boasts 35 villas, each with an outdoor bath and infinity pool. The villas feature high-beam thatched rooves, open-plan bathrooms, and views of swaying palm trees and the ocean. The Brando's premium village sprawls over 2648 square feet and costs roughly $13,000 per night, Daily Mail reports.
