The world stopped to watch Kate Middleton and Prince William officially announce the birth of their third child just days ago, and while the young royal family looked a poised and proper as ever in their traditional photo op, even a prince can't escape the exhaustion that comes with welcoming home a new baby. According to People, William was attending the annual Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when he appeared to have some trouble keeping his eyes open. A video taken at the service catches the dad of three nodding off as he struggles to stay awake in his seat, proving that royal or not, having a baby leaves all parents sleep-deprived and desperate for some shut-eye. Take a look at the sleeping prince below.
Twitter users have responded to the video with words of sympathy for the new dad, relating to the universal experience of being exhausted with a newborn at home. One writes, "Leave the poor guy alone. He has a baby and two young children. I'm surprised he wasn't sound asleep and snoring!" Another chimed in, posting, "Sleepless nights I remember those." Let's hope William is able to get some proper rest soon.
