Rachael Ray is one of the nation’s most well-known food personalities. She’s a self-trained cook who has taught countless home viewers how to make dinner in less than 30 minutes. She’s also an empire builder with a namesake magazine, television show, and nonprofit that aims to promote healthy eating to children. So it may come as a surprise that she’s just an average New Yorker in one respect of her life. She and husband John Cusimano live in a normal-size apartment with a tiny kitchen. Don’t believe me? Check out this video tour of Ray’s apartment that The Wall Street Journal recently posted. For a chef of her caliber, the kitchen is shockingly small! I’m curious to see how she makes the most of her space—it looks like she’s removed the cabinet doors to reveal everything from stacked serving ware to pantry staples.
