Brooklyn-based artist and textile designer Rebecca Atwood has just released a new Spring/Summer pillow collection, and it has us wistfully dreaming on a Monday. Inspired by "the easeful feeling of sleeping in" on the weekend, the line has a relaxed softness that is just the perfect mood for spring. Meant to evoke "the moment when the sunshine pours through the window," and the soothing nature of dappled sunlight cast onto bed linens and skin, the collection features the designer's trademark range of watercolor washes in blues, lilacs, and grays. Highlights include painterly shibori linens, speckled and dotted patterns, and leaf-inspired designs which layer together seamlessly to create a tender and sweet assortment. All of the pillows are designed and produced in small editions in the United States, and are available now for purchase on the Rebecca Atwood website.
