In between winning a Golden Globe, preparing for season two of Big Little Lies, promoting A Wrinkle in Time before its March release, and working on an upcoming morning show drama with Jennifer Aniston (among countless other endeavors), Reese Witherspoon is teaming up with the hilarious Kristen Wiig to bring you a binge-worthy comedy TV show for Apple, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 10-episode series is inspired by Curtis Sittenfeld's upcoming short-story collection, You Think It, I'll Say It. Sittenfeld's work tackles issues about class, relationships, and gender roles in 10 stories that will be available in late April of this year. Witherspoon's own Hello Sunshine company will produce the show, starring Wiig. The two will executive-produce the series along with creator and showrunner Colleen McGuinness (you might know a little show she worked on called 30 Rock).
While Wiig may be the star of the show, Witherspoon took to Instagram to hint at her own interest in a guest appearance in the series "because #FOMO is real!" It's safe to say this is one show you'll want to add to your watch list.
Total dream come true ???? to be working with Kristen Wiig on a comedy for @Apple.
