Just one month after purchasing a historic home in Nashville, actress Reese Witherspoon has added another home to her portfolio: a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath traditional home in Pacific Palisades, California. Located on a quiet, tree-lined street, it features exceptional panoramic views from LA's polo field to the Pacific Ocean. It has an open floor plan with a large formal dining room, a living room with s fireplace, and a large family room—all with spectacular views. Most rooms open to a large patio, which is perfect for entertaining and looks out over a large yard with a pool. It also has a two-car garage and a circular driveway that holds four more cars.
Witherspoon and her agent husband paid $12.7 million for the 4,344-square-foot home. As recent as December 2012, it was actually sold to celebrated architect Ken Ungar for $4.9 million, who transformed it from a dated estate (it was originally built in 1949) to a multimillion-dollar property. The listing photos you see here are actually from the former sale, as the property was never officially on the market before Witherspoon's purchase. We can only imagine how luxurious the property looks now.
