After four years of dishing out $50,000 a month to make this luxurious two-story penthouse her New York City home-away-from-home, Rihanna appears to be moving on. As Streeteasy reports, the 7000-square-foot sanctuary at the nexus between Chinatown, SoHo, and Little Italy on Layfayette and Howard just hit the market for a casual $17 million. But one peek at the jaw-dropping apartment justifies the exorbitant price tag—with floor-to-ceiling windows, white walls, stamped concrete, and some of the best views in the entire city, it's easy to see why Rihanna insisted on making it her NYC home. A wood-burning fireplace, chef's kitchen, 2400-square-foot terrace, media room, dramatic floating staircase, glass-enclosed double shower, and six-foot bathtub top the extensive list of amenities.
