>To get excited for Coachella, Whitney Tingle and Danielle Duboise, the dynamic duo behind the Sakara Life, a healthy meal delivery service, recently hosted a gorgeous desert oasis–themed dinner party. The Sakara girls teamed up with event planner and creator of Shabby Chic, Rachel Ashwell, and the Foray Collective to plan the pretty outdoor affair. “Having a theme usually provides direction and great inspiration. The Desert Oasis themed dinner was set in Malibu, California, and was an ode to the upcoming Coachella music festival,” Ashwell told us of the party. “We wanted the table to be pretty and natural but still embody a bohemian flavor.”
>To pay homage to the lovely and whimsical clothing worn at the festival every April, florist Bess Wyrick of Celadon and Celery used sweet florals and lace trim to evoke the playful atmosphere of the event. “Mixing up pattern and texture on fabric choices and flatware is a great way to keep it interesting,” Ashwell said. “I added a white tablecloth with touches of crochet and lace, and I used assorted vintage plates and silverware for an eclectic feel.” Keep scrolling to be inspired by the Sakara Life's table setting now.
