There are so many design elements that contribute to crafting your dream kitchen: a stylish backsplash, warm wood accents, and, of course, our favorite: marble. When Nooks homeowner Alexander Popovski moved into his modern Scandinavian one-bedroom, he wanted to fuse this insanely chic kitchen formula with the 100-year-old architectural details. So he painted.
"Blue has always been my favorite color, and since the kitchen was gray with white marble, I decided to paint the walls in three different colors of blue/gray," he told MyDomaine. "It made the living room cozy and the kitchen bright." The Tom Dixon copper pendants add the perfect metallic touch to an otherwise monochrome space. Now, this is a kitchen we'd love to come home to.
The blue/gray hues blend effortlessly with the midcentury furniture.
