Yes, the same artistic visionaries who brought you the rosé-infused chocolate bar have also concocted a delectable s’mores flavor so quintessentially summer that you don’t even need a bonfire to feel like you’re snacking fireside.
Made with Compartés’s signature gourmet dark chocolate, homemade marshmallows, and bits of graham cracker, the all-natural Campfire Bar boasts a flavor that is both refined and familiar: the perfect blend of nostalgia and luxury without the mess of an actual s’more. Like its rosé-infused counterpart, the Campfire Bar was practically made for Instagram, with Compartés creative director Jonathan Grahm designing the label himself (can you spot his two dogs, Samson and Rocco?).
As if you needed further proof that National S’mores Day wasn’t just for kids, we consulted Brooke Matthias, associate wine director at Winc, for the perfect wine to complement the Campfire Bar. “A dessert such as s’mores pairs best with sweeter wines; anything else will taste bitter, therefore leaving you with a bad s’mores experience,” said Matthias. She recommends washing down a s’more chocolate bar with a red blend—like this berry-driven wine from Alchymist Noir. “The berry notes contribute a luscious jam flavor, complemented by a velvety mouthfeel that pairs perfectly with a relaxing night by the campfire with friends.”
