Designers Say These Are the Only Home Décor Products Worth Buying This Spring

Updated 04/03/19

Temps are showing signs of rising, flowers are starting to bloom, spring cleaners are stocking up on the best products, and new collections have just hit stores from our most-coveted décor brands. Empty your piggy banks or donate some of that tax return to a little home makeover because this year, designers didn’t hold back on delivering the sublime.
While there are so many options out there, time is a luxury—much like the perfect velvet sofa—so we took it into our own hands to narrow down the spring 2019 collections that the industry’s leaders are shopping this season (and some of their favorite pieces). We've got something for everyone from the escapist accessories to the minimal furnishings you didn't know you needed. It’s safe to say this is a run-don’t-walk kind of situation when it comes to finding your next statement piece. On your mark, get set, shop.

Wendy Haworth, Principal Designer and Founder of Wendy Haworth Design
Her Style: You may know her as the visionary behind the interiors of favorite restaurants like Hollywood’s Gracias Madre—Haworth has a strong eye for mixing materials and bejeweling a minimal space with warm playful additions.
Her Shopping List: This spring Haworth is inspired heavily by textiles of all shapes and sizes. “I’m really into gorgeous patterned fabrics and wallcoverings right now,” she tells us. You can find her perusing the likes of Fortunity’s latest camo pieces, Claremont Furnishings, and Pierre Frey. As for rugs she’s opting for flat weaves by Marc Phillips to polish off a space.

Kerry Vasquez, Principal Designer and Founder of Kerry Vasquez Design

Her Style: Kerry has an ability to find the sweet spot in any room, somewhere right between the vibrant eclectic and the understated. This spring she’s heavily inspired by Mexico City and the Mediterranean, so if you’re seeking earth-tones to ground your home, she’s your girl.
Her Shopping List: Vasquez takes you on a little trip with her spring shopping. She can’t get enough of the CB2 outdoor collection. “Everything about this makes me want to drink a Negroni while staring at the Mediterranean,” she tells us. Sounds like a good plan to us. For those smaller décor upgrades, Vasquez directs us towards Allied Maker’s MQuan Sconces, and Serena & Lily’s latest collection of rugs. Finally, it wouldn’t be a spring haul without her favorite retailer Blu Dot. “ They are just the best, full stop,” she adds.
