>For those looking for an elevated take on laid-back West Coast style, there's one design duo to turn to—the women behind Studio Life.Style, Shannon Wollack and Brittany Zwickl. The designers, who describe their aesthetic as California casual or California modern and work in neutral palettes and natural materials, recently completed their design firm's brand-new office space. Located right on Los Angeles's hip Robertson Boulevard in the heart of the West Hollywood Design District, the 800-square-foot space exudes their covetable take on California cool, every corner an Instagram dream.

"The first thing that we bought for the space was our 60-inch round mirror to brighten and open up the space."
"Many times when we design for ourselves, we don't overthink things and design very quickly. We also take risks with ourselves more often than we do with our clients because the liability isn't so high."
>"Since we have so many samples, products, and items coming in and out of the office, we wanted to keep the office a neutral color palette to keep it clean and crisp and avoid looking cluttered. With a neutral color scheme, the bones of the office remain serene."

>"The biggest challenge was working with some of the existing elements that we couldn't change, such as the floors and the lighting. Some of the spaces are a little dark, so we added various lamps and overhead lighting to bring in some warmth."
>"We love using metals to elevate a space. We also love to use a lot of neutral wood colors to create warm and welcoming environments."
"We love our cactus art piece, which we collaborated to custom design with the artist Kati Ramer. Our cactus art really set the tone for the office because we wanted something that wasn't too loud but still made a strong statement."
"Not only is the location a major plus because we are within walking distance to a majority of the showrooms, but the space feels very open. Even though the space is broken up into individual offices, we have the ability to work collaboratively and individually, which creates a great balance."
