Exclusive: The Citizenry Welcomes Fall With Moody Hues and Soothing Textures

The summer days are giving way to the soothing season of fall, and home brands are launching collections just in time to celebrate autumn. Sustainable home brand The Citizenry just launched its Fall Collection, which is a curated selection of pillows, beautiful rugs, leather accessories, rattan furniture pieces, and more that all pay homage to the rich, earthy palette defining fall.

The need for comfort and nostalgia is here to stay, according to the brand, and the Fall Collection certainly embraces this theme with autumnal colorways and warm, natural textures at the forefront. Shades of deep rusts, dark blues, and grounding tans define these pieces—and we can't wait to get our hands on them.

Our homes are not only our sanctuaries, but sometimes our getaways as well. Haley Seidel, the design director of The Citizenry, tells MyDomaine that this collection strives to create a retreat right in your own home.

She also shares the story behind the collection, which has all to do with the cozy nature of fall. "The need for comfort and nostalgia is here to stay, and this collection dials those themes up in a big way," she notes. "You'll see them in the rustic, cozy elements and a deep, soulful palette."

Co-founder of The Citizenry Carly Nance echos this, and shares that lack of travel made for a globally-inspired Fall Collection for the brand.

"Since we couldn't travel to new places, we took inspiration from nature, nostalgia, and a myriad of memories from past travels," she shares. "These designs capture global style through our unique, collected perspectives. A grounding palette, familiar patterns, and warm rustic elements bring it all together to create a sanctuary at home."
