After dealing with endometriosis before getting pregnant with her first child, 6-year-old Cree, Mowry is no stranger to the possible complications of conceiving. She admits she had trouble getting pregnant the second time around. "I was in denial to be honest with you," she says of the moment she found out she was pregnant with baby number two. "I probably went through 20 pregnancy tests. It was hard for me to get pregnant, so I wanted to be super positive before I got too excited." With a baby girl on the way, Mowry is simply trying to enjoy every aspect of pregnancy.

"This one is different in the sense that I am really enjoying it more. I'm enjoying it through the nausea, sleepless nights, the pain. I'm not taking any of it for granted."

That's the thing about motherhood—it can give you a whole new lease on life, according to Mowry. "I've developed more of an appreciation for life in general. I'm constantly learning to appreciate the simple things in life," she says. Like all moms, Mowry strives the make time for work, relationships, and motherhood. "I'm such a champion of the idea that women can have it all. We can work and still be amazing mothers and wives." She has proven that it's possible to do just that. Her advice to new parents, now that she's a seasoned pro?

"Breathe, and take it one day at a time. It goes by so fast, so cherish every moment. We aren't perfect, so embrace your imperfections," she shares.
