He's back in the public eye to promote his latest movie, Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation, but it seems the spotlight is on Tom Cruise this week for his former London penthouse. The Great Gatsby–inspired apartment is situated in a historic 19th-century building with stunning views of Hyde Park from its own rooftop terrace—apparently it's the largest of any penthouse in Knightsbridge. Originally renting to the Hollywood headliner as a London pied-à-terre, the owner has decided to list the apartment with a starting price of £35 million ($54 million), topping Billionaire.com's list of the most expensive London penthouses. Think that's a lot of cash? Well, let's take a look at what you get. This stunning 10,000-square-foot interior does not disappoint, with six bedrooms, a cinema room, a Jacuzzi, and a divine Swarovski crystal–lined bar, and let's not forget the mirror-lined ceilings, black oak parquet flooring, and luxury carpets in every bedroom. And it was recently given a makeover by interior designer Paul Davies. Scroll down to take the tour through photos by Wetherell Properties.
