If there's one decorating power I wish I had more of, it's restraint. Being a design enthusiast means I fall in love with all sorts of styles often, and I collect new décor with abandon. But great design is about editing and making choices. It's easier to have a well-edited home when it's not your primary residence; that's one thing I love about vacation homes. Recently featured in Côté Maison, this Tunisian vacation home, belonging to fashion designer Manon Martin, has a beautiful sense of restraint. There aren't a ton of accessories or furniture pieces, but those that are there, such as a palm-print slipper chair and a whiskery woven pendant lamp, are thoughtfully chosen and impactful.
