There's no arguing that Victoria's Secret models are genetically blessed. However, with that said, they put in time at the gym to maintain their runway-worthy physiques. We know that Gisele Bündchen, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, and more love a good boxing class, but VS trainer Michael Blauner also has his clients do something called low-intensity sustained state cardio to stay in shape and keep any excess weight off.

"Theoretically, long-duration, lower-intensity cardio has been considered the best type of cardio workout for weight loss," Blauner told PopSugar. "You tap into stored fat more when the body uses oxygen as an energy source." This entails doing light cardio—which uses around 50% to 60% of your maximum heart rate—at a consistent pace for a longer period of time, reports Daily Burn.

"I like to mix in fast-paced, short blasts of higher-intensity cardio that develop your cardio system at a higher level," he adds. "This way you get the best of both worlds." Doing so also breaks up the monotony of a longer, slower-paced workout, and it keeps your body guessing.
