West Elm Is Calling It: These 3 Spring Décor Trends Will Be Huge

We might still be in the grips of winter, but our sights are now firmly set on warmer weather, thanks to West Elm's new spring 2018 catalog. Releasing a first look at the products we'll soon be seeing in everyone's home, the home décor leader offered a glimpse at the trends it predicts will be big this year.

"Each season our designers look at everything from cutting-edge architecture to age-old craft to nature to inspire exciting new designs—which will eventually become a pillow you fall in love with or your favorite chair in the house," the brand said in a statement.

This spring, the design team was inspired by layered forms in architecture, origami, and raw elements of metal and stone. If you only invest in one item from the new collection, it should be the Thea Chair, a blush accent chair inspired by the shape of two intertwined ribbons—expect to see it in every Instagrammable room.
