Ahead of the birth of their first baby, Whitney Port and husband Tim Rosenman have purchased a modest two-bedroom, two-bathroom Studio City home for $1.5 million. As Trulia reports, the expectant couple have picked a family home that they can grow into and make their own.
The ranch-style home was built in 1953 and still holds onto its midcentury charm; a brick driveway leads you up to the grass-green, white-trimmed abode, while flower beds line the entryway. The inside has more modern touches, including vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, skylights, and gray-toned hardwood floors, and solar panels sit on top of the roof.
The '50s vibe is cemented with the jelly bean-shaped pool in the backyard, which is flanked by palm trees and brick tiling. Finally, the home features a massive back patio boasting stunning panoramic views of Los Angeles. While we love the home's inherent charm, we can't wait to see how the ever-stylish Port transforms the space for her growing family. See what she has to work with below.
