There's something effortlessly cool about a New York loft. Case in point: this hip Williamsburg apartment with wooden beams, industrial elements, and an abundance of natural light, all housed in an open-plan setting. Homeowner Ciaran McGuigan, founder of Orior New York, collaborated with Homepolish designer Justin DiPiero to create a super-modern look with plenty of charm.
"The great thing about lofts are that the lend themselves to so many styles and expressions," said DiPiero. "You can play up the contrast and go with super-modern furniture, or yield to its bohemian charms and get eclectic." Furniture placement is key to decorating this exposed look. Décor barriers have been established to separate each of the living areas and create stylish zones for the dining, living, and sunrooms. If this is the look you're going after at home, take notes as you scroll through the tour.
