Visiting 32 countries on six different continents could take a lifetime's worth of travel (not to mention thousands of dollars), so the new World Cruise from MSC Cruises is quite possibly the most time- and cost-efficient way to see the world. The ship, which departs Genoa, Italy, on January 5, 2019, will hit 49 destinations in 32 countries in the span of 119 days, reports Thrillist.
Of course, the ship, dubbed the MSC Magnifica, is the largest and most modern of its kind to make such an extensive voyage. According to a press release, passengers will be able to roam around 11 bars, four restaurants, a casino, a panoramic discotheque, a cigar lounge, and a move theater across the massive ship.
As for the price, the four-month journey will run you $16,999. Keep in mind that you'll get to explore Marseille in France, Barcelona and Málaga in Spain, St. Maarten, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Bora Bora, Auckland, New Zealand, Sydney, Australia, and more. While the average trip duration per location is just 13 hours, 15 complimentary excursions are also included in the price, including lagoon snorkeling and national park tours. As of now, tickets are only available to MSC Voyagers Club members, but sale will open to the public on December 14, 2017.
